Properly insulating a tiny house floor

Now that the frame is on and bolts are ready, I'll show how to properly insulate a tiny house floor with 3 1/2 of rigid foam board insulation. The 1 1/2" was installed first followed by the 2" on top, this will fill in the space of the 2 x 4 exactly. You can save money by finding damaged pieces at the big box stores, I got mine for 70% off because the corners were damaged. I knew I was going to be cutting mine anyway so I saved a Ton! Happy feet are warm feet.

Now that the insulation is fitted between the framing, I can start to think about sheeting the deck. I'm going to go with 3/4 plywood instead of the OSB, I think the plywood will be a little stronger with less flexing and weather a little better.. Hopefully I won't need to worry about the elements with the steel, exterior coatings and the interior but I base myself on Murphy's law.

With this tiny house, I'm going between the wheel wells as I'm not worried about the space since this is only a 14 foot long trailer to begin with, and this will be for summer/fall camping, not a live in year round type of structure.
